No Continue Campaign Option

Ok i have 1.4 Patch for my stock SH3 and i also have GW1.1. I also have SH3 Commander

So i start a career, and i dont upgrade anything for the first patrol. I complete the first patrol and set my course for my dock. I save and exit the patrol (dock at Kiel). I then exit SH3. Later that night i go to play SH3 and their isnt the option for Continue Campaign. So i click Saved Careers, and it works out fine.

So why isnt the continue campaign option showing up? Or is that how it is in the game?Cause i know in the stock SH3 there was the option Continue Campaign?

It's SH3Cmdr that does that. It has something to do with needing to lad the game to apply the patrol grid, iinm.

Wah? Nothing to do with SH3Cmdr.

TBH I can't ever remember getting an option to "Continue"...always just "New" or "Saved".

Sorry JS, I just remember it being there before I used SH3Cmdr, and not being there after. Though, this is around the time I upgraded to 1.4b.

It sounds like a SH3 patch change to me...but I could be wrong...it's been soooo long since I've used anything but v1.4b.

There wasn't an option for "Continue campaign" in stock 1.4b or GWX. Only the options for "New Career" or "Saved Career" (which took you to the "load game" screen), so you aren't missing anything. That's how it's supposed to work.

Possible it was in an early version of SH3. Have only used stock 1.4b, before going to GWX.

Edit: Ah, I see I'm a few minutes too late with this info.

Thanks guys, i was getting worried.
When i played Stock SH3 with SH3 Commander there was an option for continue campaign but what ur saying is that with the 1.4 patch then u have to go through saved games, i got it now:hmm:.

So if im using SH3 Commander then all i do is play SH3 through SH3 Commander and everything will be alright. good thanks everyone.
