Actor Richardson dies aged 72

I shall always remember his role in the BBC adaptation of John Le Carre's spy thriller Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy as Bill Haydon.

I know it's a real shame.

My favourite of his was "House of Cards" a very realistic drama.

Had it not been for the (in my view debatable) fact that Thatcher was a woman, it could have been about her and her parties shinnanigans
