Ok so I had to save an exit near a fresh kill while submerged (periscope depth) and, a destroyer was commin in fast for S&D.
When I got back to the game and loaded the save I got the time warp screeching noise and then noticed @ F7 a watch crew at station. What the .. now the boat wasn't sticking out of the water but F4 gave me a underwater/wave view. "P" fixed that right quick of course. Just for funk I exited and reloaded the same save, and the exact thing happened again. Weird huh? :hmm: No big deal I guess, just thinking if I was any closer to the destoyer that patrol/carrer might have been done. Out of greed once again I chased down a tanker and before I knew it, 35 meter shallows.

Ironically - Weird stuff happens when you save while submerged or near shipping.

Not a good idea to save when submerged, strange things happen. Best to save surfaced and away from base.

Rule of thumb!
Save surfaced and away from other ships Do not save near DD at all. Do not save while in port. Worse comes to worse you can always reload you previous saved game. Not so fun if you just had a good patrol
