Help HELP!!!

I don't have a clue what I am doing wrong. I had to re-install SC, using NCP, no problems. I have SC and 1.08, but darned if I can get SCXII, SCXIIc, ESM Fixes, and Up Dates in to my SC folder. I cannot get the path right. I have put all over the place except where I want it. I can not find my install instructions except about how to run the batt file.
I would really appreciate if some one could refresh my ancient memory.
