Weird GWX Bug...is it me or the mod?

Alright, so I'm moving on to my 8th patrol. It's May 1940, and I'm stationed with the 2nd Flotilla.

I have been unable to complete my 8th patrol. My first attempt, I attacked shipping in Dunkirk, tallying over 70k in tonnage, only to CTD on my way out of the harbor.

My second attempt saw me CTD after having a torpedo successfully slam into the aft of a Hunt I. The minute the torp hit, CTD. Weird thing is that I had attacked some others like this without incident.

My third attempt was against a taskforce. Hit the Fiji fine, but CTD when I hit a DD.

Fourth, and to date final attempt was against a convoy. Hit two merchants fine, but CTD the minute I hit a DD.

So, my question is, are my CTDs a result of something with the patrol I'm on? Is it a result of me attempting to hit convoys and task forces?

I never experienced something like this with GWX until this patrol.

Do you have the Dec 23rd update installed ?

Yeah. It's the only thing I have active in JSGME.

Except a very small mod that adds back the Uboat mark on the water's surface so I don't lose my bearings when trying to take a quick screenshot.

Could be but if the merchants sank ok then so should the DD
Where the DD all different ?
Also what are your rig specs - just to know

Also wonder whether the Dec 23rd patch is installed ok
The directory should read - C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\MODS\GWX - Dec 23rd Corrections - then a data folder etc

Not - C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\MODS\GWX - Dec 23rd Corrections\GWX - Dec 23rd Corrections

Dec 23rd corrections are installed correctly.

The DDs were, for the most part, different, but IIRC, it happened with Black Swan and Hunt I. However, on the previous patrol, I sunk 3 DDs (all Hunt I) and a Fiji with no problem. Those were also in a task force.

What's leaving me baffled is the fact that the crashes are happening now, in similar circumstances to what I've encountered previously.

Sorry about that. What I mean is, I encountered task forces and convoys earlier in this career, without anything like this happening.

I just can't seem to complete my 8th patrol because of these crashes.

Alright, I'm gonna try playing again.

I'll try and keep a good tally going of what seems to cause the CTD.

I forgot to mention, though, that I'm having this problem in one of my "fun" careers, where I changed some parameters in order to get the XXI in 1939 (BTW, I don't see what everyone's deal is with the XXI...it's a freaking cow, and I can no longer enter any port that doesn't have some deep water).

But, again, I had no problem using it for the first 7 patrols, so I can't see why it would happen now on the 8th.

To add to the confusion, I just completed 3 patrols with 3 new careers. In each patrol I attacked DDs without a crash.

I am stumped.
