I'm certain that even without cruise this film will be a total failure.
Some things are just left to the imagination.
Who wants to see young kirk and spock, kind like the adventures of the young indiana jones. :rotfl:
And frankly I can't really immagine JJ Abrams directing this film.
After the failure on alias, and the same thing happening to lost he wants to do a feature film ?

Man, the suits over at paramount sure have lost their heads.

They should carry on from the Next Generation, perhaps do a DS9/Voyager movie...not dwell on the past, not like this...

Didn't they learn anything from Enterprise?!

I'm a big fan of "The Original Stuff", movies and the TV episodes, but it's over. The story has been told. They shouldn't try to get back to the glory old days of paramount by digging this up again. It's over, paramount sucks now, and they should accept it.

I never saw a prequel that was good anyway.
