Question 2 Questions for Der Teddy Bar: OB Scope

1. I remember reading a thread some time ago in which you were attempting to relocate the OB scope in the type VII boats to it's proper location in the forward control room. Were you successful with this?

2. Along the same lines, is it possible to rotate the OB scope in the type II's so it faces forward instead of aft?

note: I dont have either of the SuperMods installed for the simple reason I am on dial up. If this is a feature of NYGM TW I dont mean to be redundant.

For 1, yes. It's now smack in the middle of the helmsman area where you should be standing. Might be historally accurate, but it's in my way! hehe

Number 2 might be possible, but greater minds than I would have to do it.

The commanders view is move back and towards the starbord side slightly so you can see all the indicators around the Helmsman and periscope. I'll try to find a screenshot of it or make one when I get home tonite.

I swear Teddy had a picture of it online, but can't find the post.

Ack, sorry for the delay! Here's some side by side shots of NYGM 2.2 and GW 1.1a for the control room of the VIIC boat:

Looks good. I still don't see the helmsman sitting at the wheel at the forward bulkhead. And right behind the ladder there should be a big circular housing for the attack scope.
