Default More than one mod at a time?

Have just a quick question. Is there anyway to run more than one game play mod at once? What I mean is running say the Russian Sub mod and 2004 mod at the same time.

Thanks!

Yes, you could do that by knowing what both (or more...) mods do exactly and merging the content of the specific mod files, but:

If they mod the same files with different content, then it's a NO, or yes with restrictions if you know exactly what to change.

Version 1.09 beta and thus soon the main 1.09+ is out breaking most mods in the process, so this may be lost time.

Simple examples:
Changing the performance of a vessel/sub or weapon is rather easy because you make changes in 1 file, vessel.txt or/and weapons.txt.
Changing the way a campaign plays out and which missions you get is also simple if you understand how the campaign_data.txt works.
However, introducing new subs/vessels is complicated because a lot of files need changing, vessel folder, weapons.txt, campaign folder, mission folder, language folder etc.
Nervertheless, it's possible to keep the main changes of a mod and making the necessary 'little' changes of another mod.

I forgot to say:
If you want to switch from one mod to another one, then it's not necessary to merge the mods, because all savegame files are kept and ready to use.

In your case, install the override folder of your mod 'Russian subs' and rename it to override_russian_subs; install the override folder of mod 2004 and rename it override_2004.
Now if you want to play the 2004, COPY the override_2004 and rename it to 'override'. Play.
If you then want to swich to Russian Subs mod, delete the 'override' and COPY override_russian_subs and rename it 'override'. Play.

To switch more easily, there is a tool here on subsim you can download called JSGME Mod Enabler. It makes the above for you automatically.
