Accidental browsing.. and I saw these.. and whipped (bought) them up, naturally...
Original KM ship Identification books... over 1000+ images in each book, and full of ship details ??
Cost a pretty penny.. but an investment no doubt

Already thinking about this.. I'll wait for the books to arrive and see how one can use the info.
The ship info looks more military orientated, but one can still adapt the Recognition Manual to the same format wrt the merchant navy ships.

It would be great to see a mod that uses these books

I would expect them look similar to the pages here:
