SH5 on Steam/Non-Playable Uboats??

Is the gold edition of SH5 that's available steam for $9.99 a playable version?
The only reason I ask is because it says you are getting 3 Non-playable Uboat versions.

Yes it's playable, that is just poor wording on part of Steam.

If I understood it correctly, they modeled these few historical ships and scripted them to the sea for you to find. Hence the term "non-playable".
It's the same game still.

So this is the actual game purchase for $9.99? It just seemed a little cheap to me for that game. Is people on Amazon trying to sell used versions of it for up to $70.

I really love playing the SH4 edition of Silent Hunter.
I have always had a great affinity for the pacific fleet subs.
I have always been in love with the Fleet Type boats.
Played the SH3 modded version back in the day and was ecstatic when they came out with SH4. All my dreams come true.
Having said that with each version the eye candy just keeps getting better and better. Hence my reason for purchasing SH5.
Don't know if they could justify a rebuild on SH4 and call it SH6.
Keep em coming boys!!
