Default Anyone knows where Lead Pursuit went?

Although their website is still online, their latest news post was more than a year ago. And there hasn't been any news about a new patch since a lot more. Falcon AF v1.0.13 is a great improvement over the earlier versions, but its quite buggy.

They supposedly released Falcon 4 Allied Force to get money for an all new Falcon game, but there aren't any news about it.

I can only think that they took the money and ran away.

And if the only problem was Falcon AF being left unfinished, it would be acceptable. But the real problem is that when they bought the Falcon 4 license, the FreeFalcon and OpenFalcon projects had to go underground. And even so, they're a lot better than AF, and they're still being developed.

There were rumours that they are engaged in the developement of something like Falcon V, but these rumours have dried out over time, and I doubt that if something like this would be in the making still, it would be kept that secret year after year.

I think they just have gone in silence.

No, there's been occasional screenshot and even video demos of stuff from their "new" (i.e. 2006 vintage) project Fighter Ops, and every once in a while they suggest a possible release plan, but otherwise you're right... I think it is vapourware. I had read at one point that there were no full-time employees at Lead Pursuit, meaning that all those who worked on the project had day jobs and they could not commit resources to development and management of the project full-time. If that's not an admission that it's most likely to turn to vapourware, I'm not sure what is.

Of course I wish the developers all the best, but I think the fact is that since 1.0.13, Lead Pursuit hasn't really existed as such.

If they can't continue their work with Falcon, the least they could do is release the source code, so others can continue theirs.
