Why are you surprised? People here are constantly "advised" to check for existing threads before posting new ones, so the guy just took an existing one and posted in it.

I'm not surprised at all. I just find it funny when people dig up four-year-old threads to make a comment. I'm not criticizing at all, just teasing. It's not nearly as bad as when someone does it to make a joke, nor as good as when someone does it to ask a question.

Other question. I saw in the convoy a tanker that was burning, I then saw on my chart a type IX submarine that was astern of the convoy. Other than in harbour I have never come across another Uboat. Clearly from the burning tanker it must have attacked the convoy. Does this happen?
I can't seem to answer your question. But what I can do it point out your questions and hope they get answered. But a question outright from me. What mod is this refueling ship under? GWX? And if so are helpful ally AI (as stated in Mowgli's question) also in GWX?

There are AI allies in the air and surface - planes, ships and u-boats and they will shoot if they stumble on the enemy. However there are no allies that submerge.

Is this in the base game or just GWX?

Default How to resupply?

This is gonna be like reviving an Egyptian mummy, but let's give it a try. (last post 2012, thread started 2008)

I am new to GWX3.0. So the status is like that: It's 1939 and I am stationary at 0kts very close to Belchen resupply ship - less than a cable away. How do I resupply - refuel, load torpedoes and ammo? Is there a key combination that triggers the resupplying process? Or should I take a certain position - e.g. port side, less than 20yds away?

Hit esc, then dock at Belchen, like it was a port, not a ship.

SH3 is alive! 2006-2016! Ten years!

New players are discovering this legend.

I think it should be merged with The last one to post wins! thread.

Considering the fact that one of my favourite flight simulators is a 1988 vintage Microprose F19 Stealth Fighter, ten years doesn't seem so much...
Actually I preferred to buy SH3 to SH5, because of hardware constraints. It works smoothly on my machine and this makes playing SH3 very enjoyable.

It doesn't look like anyone's actually answered your question such was the excitement of this topic being revived. I think the best thing to do is to press escape, and then "end patrol" and I think it should allow you to click on the words "DOCK AT:" (presented either before or after clicking end patrol)

I've not done this myself but I'm sure one of the other kaleun's here will confirm the correctness of this!
