Default Sub behaviour since last patch

So I am doing another campaign in Cold Waters and I noticed that enemy subs seem to have stopped diving again to evade. This is a shame as it makes the game a lot less challenging as one torpedo is usually enough to sink them. Was this behaviour changed back recently?

If so why?

Also I still haven't got my tagline contest T-shirt prize. It was supposed to have arrived months ago but it never came through the mail.

I noticed that they do change depth in the final minute. Just better maneuvers all-around.

Ok. I will push on. But just had 4 subs keeping depth making them exceedingly easy to hit.

Also, I wonder what the differences with the difficulty setting. I am on Realistic. Maybe if I stepped up to Hard, I would see them dance.

Supposedly the increase is only on detection ranges and hitpoints. Not SO behaviour. I am also on realistic.

Well i just started another campaign and had a juliet launch on me from around 500 feet I launched on him (mk37) from 100 feet and could not get the torpedo to go down I moved my sub down to 400 feet and lost the wire.
So how deep can you launch a torpedo?

I don't think there's a depth limit for Mk 37 launch, only the Mk 16 since it's for attacking surface ships.

Regarding the AI behavior, it's possible they no longer dive to evade to fix them nose diving into the sea floor or inadvertently surfacing.

The torp LAUNCHES at the current depth. Changing the sub depth does not change the torp depth. Wired torps have steering controls in the weapons tab. You should be using those after the activation to get the depth you want.

I thought that problem had been fixed... game is a lot easier this way.
