Keep your left mouse button pressed while using the w key to move . Works for me .

Shaefer was referring to this issue in his latest video... In some situations (mostly in periscope view) rightclick mouse function, for switching between movable avatar's head and clickable cursor, will fail... In that situation I quickly press M key two times to fix the problem...
I guess we're on the same track here?

Use my latest waves mod and do the Stornaway again . See if you get the dancing ships . Ships will dance or float if the sea parameters are not right .

That was one crazy video!
I don't think waves will help, it's a game problem present from the beginning of time and it will occur every time when ship sinks in shallow waters. This apply to players sub too. Maybe disabling ships sinking through sea bottom patch could help though...

Dont ask him to do the same please because harbor raiding, with all known game limitations and craps, is really nothing special in SH5. Plus, when I see sheets like this I instantly have a wish to go back to FSX and DCS...
From same reasons harbor raids were prevented with underwater nets in SH4 Operation Monsun for example...It's really unrealistic and there is also game limitation/bug which will prevent convoy/units spawning if player is within 20km of the the port...
Skapa Flow mission can be interested because of your shipwreck mod and that's about it...

Hey Vdr .....do you have a savegame just prior to entering Skapa for that mission, that you could could possibly post? I want to try adding a waypoint to the DD's so that they will not think they're anchored and refuse to fire. I don't want to start a new campaign at the moment to be able to redo that mission.... Thx

No I dont, sry...
I'm not really mission editor expert but I'm a bit skeptic about results...
Trevally, the main creator of OHII, was aware of that issue and he couldn't find solution for sleeping destroyers...

If you add them waypoints, for how long will they patrol ? Can they patroll entire war for example?

No probs The DD's with the Oak are part of the same group. I want to add the waypoints and possibly class them as escorts or tactical unit to see if they become aggressive. I suppose how long they remain depends on looping the waypoints etc. I'll reload a new campaign so that I can get that savegame to experiment with.
