Here is a big, yet ambitious idea: Subsim Tools-a utility that contains the solvers and functions necessary for any prospective virtual Kaleun. It would include a Lead Angle Solver (For Fast-90/Dick O'Kane method) and a solution solver whizwheel for more complex firing solutions, along with anything else we determine to be necessary.

Thoughts?

I'm not enough in the tools for targeting, to know of there's a real benefit, if somebody decides to give it a go, I will not stand in the way :-D

So, a few things.

Targeting 4.0 is a bad idea, the vast majority of devices are running 2.x. I've set up a skeleton project targeting 2.2 (just plain Android API, if you target the Goog ones you exclude Kindle Fire/BN Nook).

Also, we should really be using the Fragment API as it would make the app size better to different device screen resolutions. There's a compatibility lib to target pre 3.0 devices. I've added that to the skeleton project I'm setting up. See the developer.google.com docs on fragments.

Also, any layout editing should probably done directly in the XML. In my experience (which is about a year out of date, perhaps things have vastly improved since then) the GUI layout editor is nearly useless for anything but the simplest of cases.

We should set up a subclass of the fragment activity that uses tabs. Relevant code sample here (just the first I stumbled across, there are probably much more):

Aaahhhh... It great to have somebody who knows this stuff.
The old reason for doing a 4.0.3 version was that they was supposed to work with old version as well :-D

Ill have a look at all the other names you wrote...
