Default Chinese SH3 mod forums?

Hey guys, does anyone know where the community is of Chinese modders? It must be pretty big because they've created some very in-depth mods like WSM, AircraftCarrier, AI Wolfpack, etc...

I'd like to take a look at this community to perhaps get some info on what they know, but I don't know where its at. Like I said, it must be pretty big because "they" know alot more than we do about the memory management of the game and things like that, than "we" do.

A Google Search might do the trick for you.

I appreciate the feedback, but I've tried google and even Baidu, which is a Chinese SE.

Any one have any links to a Chinese community? I know they exist, because they mods they are outputting are way too sophisticated to be just private contraptions. They are getting feedback and collaboration in a forum somewhere.

On the other hand the only way would be to use google translators as soon as you found a page to start from.

Have you looked into Chinese U-47's threads, posts and specifically his downloads? Anything in there?
Good idea.

I use Google Chrome and its translate function to browse non-English sites.

Hi Here's the Chinese website. Try to find what you're interested in:

http://www.u-47.net/

I used to be one of the forum. But many veterans have left since about 2 or 3 years ago. So there is not much new stuff recently.

Thanks man. I knew it existed.

While I have you here, can you be sort of our ambassador to the Chinese?

I registered, but how do I start posting as new member? Where can I post?

Translator doesn't make things that easy.

I'm glad to be the "ambassador"

But as I said, this forum is kind of out of date, not so many people are still there and U-47 didn't come so frequently. He's very busy with his work and he seems now focusing on modding the game-"Men of war: assault squad 2"

As to post in this forum, you can find it's divided into several sections as below:

click the green title of each section to enter that, than go to the bottom of the webpage, you can find a text box. When you finish you typing, click the button in the red circle to post it out. Good Luck~

Thanks.

Perhaps I wasn't explaining correctly. As a new member with no posts, I try to post in threads and it says I don't have permission to post. How do I gain permissions? Some threads I cannot see because I don't have permission.

Sorry that i misunderstood. You need to try to reply some ordinary threads which without permission, after several posts, you can get enough permission. if you can not post in one thread, try another, keep trying.

By the way, what's your name in that forum?

Looks like his web site is shrinking. Not a lot left of it from what I see. Most pages I looked are gone. Maybe he's no longer doing mods for any of the Silent Hunter sims.

I'm more concerned about what they know. I want to know the memory locations in order to add AI uboats to game after contact report like in the Wolfpacks! mod. If they shared their data we could expand on the mod or create other types of mods.
