The most epic dogfight I've ever been in, alright

Anyway, here's some pics from the first mission:

On taking off, Task Force forgot to shut his cockpit door and went convertible

Hunter is shot at by the gunners of the Ju-88 as he and Oberon move in for the kill

Starboard engine smoking, Hunter rakes it a bit more and then moves aside to let Oberon attack the port engine

The result, the Ju-88s crew bail out after Oberon sets the port engine on fire whilst Hunter watches on, Task Force chases the stricken 88 down to the ground.

Hunter, Task Force and Oberon in formation heading back to base.

Hunter passes Oberon on the way to the hangar

Task Force puts the waffle back into the Cheesewaffles and smashes into the hangar behind Oberon, cutting Oberons tail off.

It's only a flesh wound!

In the second mission I was a bit too busy dogfighting that 109 to take many screenshots, but I got one of my first kill which was a co-op with I presume an AI Fokker which set the 110s right engine smoking and then disappeared to let me finish the kill.

Then came the 109. Originally it was going to be Schroeders kill, we were going to surprise the 109 when it came back for its third strafing run on the airbase but the 109 decided that I was a better target. Schroeder dived on it as it attacked me but the 109 climbed away. Then a 110 appeared out of nowhere and went after Schroeder so that left me with the 109. Damn that guy was pretty good for an AI, he nearly had me when he got behind me that last time, my cockpit got riddled with bullet holes and my instruments smashed up, but then he curved away and around and came in for a head on pass and I got him. Damn, that felt good.

Of course, I then sodded it up on landing but hey, you can't have it all ways, can you?

Hunter provided the soundtrack for the epic dogfight with:
(Oberon and Schroeder battling the 109)
(Oberon vs the 109)
(Oberon landing)

Nice shots there Oberon its what I've come to expect from you AARs. I also noticed the Voor de Kaas on the side(Hunters?) plane, and I have no understanding of Dutch but I bet it means "For the Cheese!".
Oh we now have state approval to start demoing the first floor at work and that means I can't fly on Friday. Oh well work before pleasure unless your in the porn industry where your work is pleasure!

The DCG programmer was definitely an even worse artist than Raptor1!

Maybe I can try to tune up some of Golfplatz's campaigns. I think adding some serious AI to them should already make them much better....

It's worth a shot, although I was quite enjoying the Holland campaign.
It would be a shame for it to all end this way, but I understand Hunters frustration.
