Default Silent Depth - a 3d submarine game for mobile devices

Hi,

so here it comes, our first 3d game:

http://www.silentdepth.com

Some early screenshots from the player's submarine:

Driving over water:

ALERT! Dive, dive!

Under water...

coming from the silent depths, arising full power ahead (AK)...

Coming soon to Android, iPhone/iPad and probably Windows Phone.

Looks very good! Has serious potential to be better than the IOS Silent Hunter! But two questions:

European release? (UK specifically)
Realistic or arcade?

But brilliant work so far! Good luck.

Thank you!

It will be available worldwide. And it will be somewhat realistic. Definitely not arcade. But of course there are some concessions we must make to have it playable with smartphones.

The diving/surfacing effects are really good!

I await the gameplay announcements.

Thank you neal.

Someone ask us isn't it a bit ... weird to have a subsim on a casual platform?

I say no. It makes sense.

Indeed it does.

Real shortage of subsims on the mobile platform.

Nice video and great effort.

However...you may want to adjust the depth gauge so that it takes into account the draft of the boat at all times. Shells of Fury made the mistake of not taking draft into account and it was too easy to bottom the boat accidentally because of it.

Looking great so far, two small things you might want to address US subs measured their depth in feet not metres and max rudder angle should be about 35 degrees.
