WELL, I got IL-2 reinstalled, and my slightly malfunctioning joystick can be plugged in at any time!!! I suppose I should update it to 4.09?

I have flown a few flight sims in my time.

I really hope that they fix the Korea jets. Right now the Panther doesn't have a proper FM and the performance of F86, MiG 15/17 and even the F80 is far too superior to the F84 (or the F84 is far too inferior, either way). I know that it was inferior to the MiGs and Sabres but I think a speed disadvantage of 200 knots is a bit exaggerated.
The real thing had quite a few problems, mostly due to the rushed construction and the glue problem, but I think the He 162C in the game assumes those problems to be resolved.

The most annoying thing in the world? Possibly...

Still, his evasion into the water under the bridge meant that I claim this as a victory!

You certainly did, although when I ran out of ammo that was the moment you seemed to become a bit more predictable, or around about the time I stopped falling for your swing to the right and then flip and break left tricks.

If you hadn't have evaded into the river I was looking to ram you

Well, I figured it a way to test my attack skills which are pretty poor. I was going to either ram you, hit a tree, stall or run out of fuel before too long though. How you survived my initial strafing run baffles me though considering your entire aircraft was blotted out by impact clouds from the ground around it.

Yeah, I was mildly peeved to see you take off from that. It was kinda like:

MWAHAHAHAHAAAAAA (strafe)

WTF? (TF flies out of cloud of dust)

Crap...now I have to dogfight him at low altitude in a plane that's likely to stall and put me in the ground....

He should try the P51. It's way more forgiveable.
