mission editor from hell

Hello i been playing around with the editor, but it wont play with me. Has anyone has some luck with it, cant understand how triggers and events work toghter. i Want enemy tp boats attack Me and follow Me when i attack but they simple follow a route, they shot back but take no action. It would be nice to share expiriance with somebody. Sorry for my spelling il from Sweden

well i figured out the relations betwen trigger and event. but i cant get enyone of my trigger working after creaating a new mission, very simple mission. Enyone is the mission editor working, has anyone have any sucsess creating triggers and event.
