Default TBD Question?

Is there another key press besides CTRL+Arrow keys to move the TBD?
I find it still very fast even using CTRL key plus I often whiz past the target only to whiz the other way, or is there a mod that makes it move slow if needed?

I gotta start by asking what a TBD is, AFAIK the only TBD in SH4 is the Douglas Devastator torpedo bomber.

If it's the TBT I always aim with my mouse, never with keyboard.

To your question: no, I don't think there is any mod like that. This is the first time I've heard of this problem. What mods if any do you use?

Should be as easy as moving the periscopes, outside deck view, the binoculars ..... Every view. The Mouse, Left, Right, up, and down cursor arrow keys are typical for rotating any view.

"ROTATE:
With mouse: Moving the mouse moves the view to left/right and up/down.

With keyboard:

Left cursor: Rotate camera view to the left.

Right cursor: Rotate camera view to the right.

Up cursor: Raise the camera view.

Down cursor: Lower the camera view.

ZOOM:

With mouse wheel: Cycle through the zoom levels.

With mouse: Right-click to exit targeting system.

With keyboard: Tab key to cycle through the zoom levels.

Design Note: The rotation speed of the view will be slower at higher zoom levels."

Right? ... or don't I understand?

Verify sonar contact through periscope - determine range from masthead height - close to 400 meters - send bearing to TDC - down periscope - fire on target

Ah! So using the mouse to click on the target, I never thought of that.

I see some of you might have not understood what I meant, I'll try again, When I see a target either in the periscope or the binoculars, if I use the Ctrl key and the arrow keys it moves to fast, often going past the target.
If I move it back again it again moves to fast not pinpointing the target, it jumps past it, sometimes I'm lucky and it lands on it so I can then lock it.

But as mentioned using the mouse to pinpoint the target will be easier, so problem solved, thanks lads.

That's the problem right there. The Arrow Keys alone are for medium movement. Ctrl is for faster movement. Shift will make it move slower.
