If you want some good material in a photo-journalism style book, I recommend "U-Boat War" by Lothar Buchhelm... You can find it on Amazon under "Buchhelm" alongside Das Boot

Don't forget

United States Submarine Operations in World war II by Theodore Roscoe.
It was released in paperback under the title Pigboats.
A well written history of the submarine activities, but came right after WWII so there is much classified material left out. Was required reading at Annapolis I've heard.

Haven't posted anything for a long time hope ya'll are all doing Okay......

Yes, Roscoe's book is excellent. So is Blair's. On the other hand, this is a thread about fiction.
