Default Is this message frome subcom a joke?

i received this message from subcom, and went to the location 0136S 14900E on 1600 7 Jul 42,but nothing happened...there is not even a ship at all...and i serched all around,,no IJN Task Force....

Unwilling to give up,i reached the Rabel and waited for the IJN TF,,,nothing found...

so,,the message is a joke?i sailed more than 3500nm,,and only sunk a merchant(4400T)...o my god,,who can help me....what happened....

1.5_Optical Targeting Correction 031312 for RSRDCv502
1.5_OTC for 8 to 5 Aspect Ratio RSRDCv502

I don't know the details of how the radio messages were put into the game, but I don't think it makes sense to assume that they are 100% accurate, or reliable. Code decrypts, aircraft sightings, and even other sub sightings would/should be subject to 'fog of war' considerations.

Interesting.

This may not be the problem, but, here is what happened to me in SHIII.

Patroling in Grid BE54, I reciev ed a message from BDU to U-Boat 123, join wolfpack and converge on convoy in grid AF17.

As it turned out, it was just a matter of coincidence that a historical message was sent out to U-123 on just this same thing, and I just so happened to be in U-123.

I have not played RSRD, but have always played TMO 2.0.

RSRDC is a very nice mod, almost all the histrical operations involved......I have found 2 big histrical missions in sh4 with TMO and RSRDC,for example:
1.Battle of Coral Sea,5-8/May/1942,,I sunk 2 IJN's Fleet Carriers, location is the same to the histiry...

2.Battle of Salvo Island,9 Aug 1942,IJN's task force head to Salvo Island,5 heavy crusiers, 2 light cruisers and 1 destroy,,the number and the type of the warships are same to histroy, I sunk 3 IJN's heavy cruisers....

so ,i think the message from subcom in sh4 is different from sh3,,,if you are careful enough and have some good luck, you wil find the location and the battlefield in sh4...
