sub command naval combat version

What version of sub command is in the naval combat pack version? I note a few references to the 1.08 patch not to be used with SC in the combat pack, so could I assume that version is already at 1.08??

After a lot of trolling, I think the answer is, yes the naval combat pack version of SC is 1.08 but if one is going to think about using SCU and SCX mods, the naval combat pack version of SC does now work well with SCU and SCX. Am I on the right track? It is a bit of a catch 22, the original disc version 1.00 patched to 1.08 has the flickering problem but works well with SCU/SCX yet the NCP version solves the flickering problem but does not like SCU/SCX....lol. Life wasnt meant to be easy.

Yes, the SCU part of the mod is an executable hack to allow you to play different types of subs. But the Naval combat pack version came later and has some bug-fixes or slight enhancements in the code. So the specific byte locations in the executables the SCU mod looks for are not valid anymore.
