bullhorn Help needed

Hello. I've been totally addicted to SH3 and SH4 for many, many years. I have very , very little vision and so a slow moving sim is perfect for me, however I have a problem. My computer knowledge is very limited and I've no idea about downloading mods, attaching to games etc. Is there such a thing as a simple introductory guide to mods for these sims? I'd love to tweak the realism of the sims and boats I command. I use a 48" tv as a monitor and sit directly in front so when I look around a really have to turn my head! Would love more realism to what I have now. If you can, I'd love any suggestions/offers of help.

Welcome to SubSim Kennym! The best place for great info is THEBERBSTER's SH4 <> TUTORIALS <> HOW TO DO IT <> INFO <... thread. The main point to keep in mind with the Silent Hunter games on a 'modern' OS (Windows), is that you do not want the game in or below the 'Program Files' or 'Program Files (x86)' folders. Windows itself will 'protect' those folders and prevent a mod from taking. All that info and more is in THEBERBSTER's post.

Ahoy @sandra58 and welcome aboard.
Which version of SH4 (and which modes) do you play?

Something is wrong with the presentation of the calendar.
Of course, a warm welcome to you @Kennym.
