Default Problems with sea floor and land

Hello,
I have been playing Cold Waters for 56 hours now and have never seen the sea floor. Also when I do TLAM missions there is no land, only the open sea and the red zone at which you launch your TLAMs (even in the single mission "Strike From The Sea"). I am starting do believe that this is a bug and that there might be a connection between the sea floor and the land not loading correctly.

Thanks for any help.

Do you have terrain enabled in the options?

Thanks for the quick response. You were right, it was turned off. There was no option to enable terrain ingame though. I had to manually change it in the options text file. Not sure if it is supposed to be like that.

It would have to know to render the terrain before loading the 3D space so it makes sense to me that this is a main menu only option.

What text file are you referring to?
What line item in the file needs changing?
I want to make that change to my text file. Thanks.

I'm also curious about what to modify, and where.

I have also attempted this single-mission scenario and am able to see the sea floor. I've had torpedoes detonate upon striking the sea floor, too.

I have most of the main menu items checked. I have not had a problem seeing the sea floor.

I believe you need to be able to see hidden files to find it. The text file is called options.txt and should be in C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Killerfish Games\Cold Waters. In line 7 it said terrain=FALSE, which I changed to terrain=TRUE.

Thank you, Sir.

My "terrain" setting is "TRUE", but it is nice to know the file location, for future reference. This parameter is on the first line, (in my file, anyhow), but the file is quite small and easily searched.
