Default How to take pictures for a Photo Recon Mission?

I'm doing a Photo Recon Mission in my custom patrol campaign but can't find out how to take recon pictures of enemy ships in a habor? If anyone can help me I would be thankful.

Well you gotta get within a couple thousand yards.
Find the ship you are supposed to photo and lock the periscope on it.
In the peri menu bar there is an icon to take the picture, it should light up.
You may have to take photos of several different ships.

DON,T SINK THE SHIPS TILL AFTER YOU HAVE THE PHOTOS.

I did this once and could never complete the mission.

Shouldn't the Admiral be just as happy you sank them?

Default Thanks.

Thanks for the help. I will try to lock on and take the pic. I did sink a Japanese trawler outside of the harbor so I hope this wasn't one of the ships I was to photograph.
