IL-2 patch 4.10 info

Sounds like a lot of stuff that has been added as part of teh mods wbut will now be officially supported.

I must say this is better. I haven't played on line for ages and only play offline for the time being and that with 4.09m. Somehow I didn't really like the uber mod thing that has been out. Initially new planes was cool but I still only fly a limited few and all those with the stock game. TBH I prefer what Team Daedlus are planning to do with IL-2 than the current mod setup.

Very nice. It makes me happy to see DT working with the mod teams as opposed to the years we've had of condemnation of any form of modding of IL2.

SOW will have to be extremely good to pass IL2 if these guys keep on going like this.

Well I am just glad that there are creator supported patches being made that incorporate modding ideas or mods but in a way that doesn't require a funky install.

BTW what are we using online?

I'm glad they're incorporating the mods in now, would certainly make life easier. Hopefully they'll put in a system that will allow the FMs to be both moddable and not exploitable (Shouldn't be too hard, especially since IL-2 already has an executable check function), so the secrecy around the buttons file editing could finally be lifted.

The thing I'm still most looking for is the airborne radar, didn't they say they were bringing that in 4.11?
