Default enemy detection layers

so, looking at the included screen shot, what are all off the various detection levelsof that V&W DD?

The small little oval of course, is to show that you've selected it. Next out is the frontal lobe of the active sonar, it it uses it, for about what? almost 180 degrees of frontal coverage?? The other lines for about 120 degrees might be that. Next out would be passie hydrophone of about 270 degrees of coverage. What I don't see is a visual circle or oval, unless you're zoomed-in too close, and they're loading the guns as I type... ?? - oop, yeah! There's a piece of the curve of it way behind your boat! Run away! Run away!!! Unless you're submerged, of course...

so...
outside circle is gun range? my initial thought was surface radar range.
270 degree arc is hydrophone/passive sonar.
180 degree arc is active sonar.
120 degree arc is ????

If they have radar, it would be a full circle, like the visual. It might be drawn with a dark green color (??) - don't quote me on that... I'm not dure what they're trying to sdhow with the sonar circles... The missing lobe to the rear is passive, in the baffles, but the two different angles up front, I'm not sure. One is active, but which one??... Someone has a thread on here somewhere with artwork, but I can't find it. CapnScurvy?? THEBERBSTER??

Check the class of ship your encountering and its capabilities. It could have additional sensors installed on the ship
