Default HELP! OOB Soviet PACFLT late 70s .. RA/DWX

I'm working on a mission to take place in the late 70's/early 80's in the Sea of Okhotsk. I'm using RA/DWX mod.
What I need to know is where to find the OOB for the Soviet PACFLT during that time period. Most specifically Petropavlosk. Not sure where or how to find this info. My google searches haven't helped thus far.
Thanks!

Do you want a detailed OOB, or would knowing the sub numbers (divided by type) in the Pacific Fleet be enough? I can get it done.

It would be helpful if you were to provide the general outline of your scenario first though.

Not just subs, moreso ships actually ..... generalities would work fine. So far all i've been doing is looking up ship classes to see if they were in service during that time period.
I'm trying to build a mission based on Operation Ivy Bells.
Using RA/DWX, I've got the USS Parche as ownship. I just want to make sure I've got /mostly/ historically accurate Soviet vessels as well.

Well, what year are you going for?

Also, can I kindly ask for a Soviet Victor III campaign as well? :P

The year is "indeterminte" late 70s/early 80s. I'm leaving it vague on purpose really.
RE: Victor III campaign LOL ... I'm rather new to mission editing in DW .. we'll have to see about that one. I too would enjoy a Victor campaign. And a Sturgeon campaign. .... and, just, more campaigns in general. There really doesn't seem to be all that many out there for DW.

The issue here is that Soviet OOB changed significantly over that decade. Thus you should select a year (or better still a date) if you want anything close to a decent OOB.

In this post I would makes the (approx) OOB for the 01.01.1980.

Note that those vessels are the ones that Pacific fleet had on paper, I would try to look into the repairs/refits stuff at the later point.

This post would be edited and would in the end contain the information that you appear to look for.

Major surface combatants:
- project 1143 carrier Minsk (accepted into service in 1978).
- project 58 missile cruisers - Soobrazitelnu, Admiral Fokin those were accepted into service in mid 1960s, so would be the old ships.
- project 1134 missile cruiser - Vladivostok.
- project 61/61M Large ASW ships - Sposobniy, Steregushiy, Strogiy, Odarenu.
- project 1134A Large ASW ships - Marshal Voroshilov, Admiral Oktabarskiy, Vasily Chapaev.
- project 1134B Large ASW ships - Petrapavlovsk, Tallin, Tashkent.
- pr.56 destroyers are not counted by me.
- pr.57Bis destroyers - Gordiy, Uporniy (old ships, early 60s).

Minor surface combatants:
- pr. 159 and 159A Guard Ships - 18 vessels. (I can break by subtype if need be) (old ships, but depends on the specific vessel)
- pr. 1135/1135M Guard Ships - 8 vessels. (I can give specific names if need be).
- pr.1234/12341/12347 Small Missile Ships - 7 (would need to check if any are OOTF).
- pr.201/201M/201T/204/502/503/1124/1124P/ Small ASW Ships (many, I could count all of them though if need be and divide by subtype)

Would expand on this and subs later.

AWESOME!! Thanks much ikalugin .. that's pretty much what I was looking for ... total historical accuracy as to specific ships isn't a big deal to me here, but your specifics are astounding. WOW .... May I ask where you sourced this info?
As to the subs involved, I'm guessing Golf, perhaps Kilo, early Victors, Sierras, and perhaps Charilies .. plus the Petropavlosk boomers, but they won't really play a role in the mission.
Again tho, the time period is kinda "floaty" because it's really just a more general "recover the data tapes on the cable tap" mission. No specific date.
Thanks again. Great info!

So here's the generalities I've been able to sort out from your OOB ikalugin:
Basically I can use:
Kiev, Kynda, Kresta I/II, Kashin, Kara, Kotlin, Kanin, Petya, Krivak, Ovod, and SO-I/Poti/Mayak/Alpinist/Grisha I & II
I don't think RA/DWX lists the Soviet ships by project #, as the Soviet's themselves did. Thus the NATO designations.

As far as subs I can use, this is what I've been able to glean as to time-period availability:
golf (diesel missile boat)
sierra is out, built 1983
victor I/II/III (III entered service 1979)
charlie I (SSGN tho) (charlie II was northern fleet only)
kilo (barely, 1980)
Tango was northern and baltic fleet
foxtrot (diesel attack sub) ?? which fleet??
november class (four of the class (K-14, K-42, K-115, K-133))
yankee (ballistic missile subs)

I was also planning on using spy trawlers, but can't really find any info on that. Seems the spy trawlers were primarily ELINT/SIGINT platforms operating near NATO bases .. not trawling for subs with hydrophone arrays.

Does that all sound about right?

I would do the subs later, but there were no Victor IIs in the Pacific Fleet I think.
