Gato Class in Mission Editor

Trying to make the Gato Class playable in the mission editor, but when i start it up it's a gar... i understand the date thing, i've even modded the Bungo Pete so i can start with the Gato... but still, it's a Gar... Anyone else get this? could one of you kind fellows make a mission just with the Gato? so i can mod it? I'm really confused
