Fun couple of missions I was actually quite relieved to see those bullet holes in my engine cowling, I thought for a horrible moment that I'd buggered the engine up through overheating.

Raptors unconventional parking position

Task Force buzzes Oberon after he'd (barely) managed to land.

The bullet hole in the sky...

Parked up.

An...erm...artists impression of what happened between TF and Oberon. They both went after the same AAA, TF used his cannons and Oberon fired one set of rockets, the rockets must have hit and killed the AAA just as TF flew over them. Thus damaging TF. The red triangle indicates possible courses of the Fw-190 after Oberon lost sight of it. In Oberons defence, he didn't see TF's cannon fire until a millisecond after he opened fire, and he thought that TF would be clear anyway.

But TF wasn't clear...

I was surprised to actually take-off, get some kills and land succesfully.

Must say I much prefer a mission over PvP dogfights; at least it's clear what needs to be shot.

In your defence, just point out that Pilot Acrobat Task Force is flying a F0cke-Wulf with enemy markings that however it's flown by an American it is too easy to mistake it for a hostile aircraft thus shooting at it without full identification is justified.

Shoot first, Identify later

That's a bit of a Septic way of thinking isn't it?

Not quite cricket old chap, this is the RAF not the ruddy USAAF. We look at our targets briefly and then shoot at them. And if they're friendly, well then that's there bloody fault for being there and they were probably coffee drinkers anyway.

When it's nearing Tea Time, its justified to shoot at the identified as non-british aircraft as its most likely a Jerry anyway and if it happend to be a yank we'll just blame the Jerry.

Typhoon mon digivolved to

Stal-erm-Spitfire mon!!

I'llsee how she handles, early tests in QMB against a Fw-190 seem quite promising, and the pull trigger and see how long the ammo lasts is also quite promising, so if I can just get used to her limits in regards to stalling then I should be there. Oh...and that prop... XD

Think I'll stick to the not-so-maneuverable P-47. No cannons, but good ground attack and survivable.

Nice flight, got kinda stretched out chasing after those Junkers though.

Since the British forces have consistently failed to take Syracuse, steps were taken to remove Syracuse as a threat.

Septic Jerry can

Back at base at the TNT bar (Typhoon and Tempest)

Oh, hello Task Force...

I think you picked the wrong place to park TF...

And yeah, parking your wrecked plane on the runway won't win you any points either...even if it only has two wheels...

It's seen better days...

Here we go again!

...just.......
