IJmuiden, woooooh, that's my place

I live about 800m away from the old bunkers/pens. The biggest bunker today is used as a distribution/storage center for a major mall...

Default Crew configuration for the s-boot...

"question"...:hmm: ...The current s-boot crew configuration is accurate? Not to be annoying, but if I remember well, the only officer on board schnellboot was the commander. His second, in many cases, was a simple Oberbootsmann, so, a chief petty officer. In the current sub-based version we could have up to 4 officers.
maybe this configuration have already been classified as unmoddable, but if not, someone experienced in this type of modifications might give a look also on fixing crewmen uniforms... ...Just another little step toward the perfection of this great mod

Cheers
LK

I bought the addon immediately after its release..at the beginning I was a bit disappointed by the incredible (and unrealistic ) amount of enemy traffic...( i suggest using RSRDC mod ), but the new models are excellents and the gameplay is wonderful .

Maybe the officer problem could be solved turning the 4 officers into something like Chief Pettyofficers, with tthe same parameters, and then, let the other things as they are now. Maybe Venatore might help you modifying the appearance of the modified officers.

good luck as a Monsun boat commander

Does that mean you'll do a PT Boat mod? *hint* *hint*

I got SH4 a few weeks ago (didn't get U-Boat Missions yet) and just can't bring myself to go back to SH3. The graphics in SH4 are amazing! With the Pacific Environments mod, they are better still!

Ahoi LK,

out of my investigation for an S-Boat Typ S-100 (based for Mikhayl's Mod):
Crew max: 29-31 men
Officers: 2-4
Petty Officers: 5-7
Sailors: Rest

Reference: "Deutsche Schnellboote 1939-1945 (Jean-Philippe Dallies-Labourdette)

If we will find a moderate Mix of the config for the crew... we'll on the right way - are'nt we?

@Mikhayl: You have email !!! Translation Beta for 1.0

Ahoi,

I think the config you've done in V0.9 is well done - because It's a hard ride against enemys with a small tiny S-Boat - and for that we need much help we can!

My theory was based on the little story of the two Mediterrranean Schnellboots that I posted some times ago. One of these s-boats was commanded by a pettyofficer because the commander was indisposed cause illness. But these boats were of S-36 class,so little smaller than the S-100s ones.
My book states that on a mediterranean S-36 there were:
1 officer
6 petty officer
20-25 sailors

Well actually what I was thinking that there might be a way to make the gunners think that certain ships(ex. the elco and the mtb)are aircraft and treat them as such(by shooting 'em fulla holes).BTW thanks for the reply.

It is really simple: Just D O N`T start a singe Mission under water. Just play missions who start on surface.
Kind regards

I loaded 3 missions where boat is under water without any CTD.
