Default 53-38 Torpedo

Hey y’all I’ve been trying this mod out, and have a quick question about the Soviet torpedos. Does it only run straight or am I just doing something terribly wrong when aiming them?

Thanks,

Extremely late reply (not been Subsimming lately!), but the short answer is yes, they only run straight. From what I can gather the Soviet Navy didn't have a TDC type system until after WW2 so everything had to be done manually.

What the SOMGroup have included in the game is (I think) based on that postwar TDC equivalent. I'm still trying to figure out how that works.

Mike.

I just downloaded the mod and I have seen that they have a manual but is in Russian. So for everyone that wants to read the manual I have taken the liberty to translate it (Machine Translated).

Here is the file:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1y7_...ew?usp=sharing

Edit: I woke up with dozens of notifications on my phone because I left the PDF with download restrictions (Sry don't have used GDrive too much). So the restrictions are lifted now and the download is liberated for everyone, again sorry for the mistake! Cheers.

Default Torpedo Attacks

I find it extremly diffuclt to make torpedo attacks without the use of gyros to the point where its not fun, I wonder if there is a way to add gyros to the torpedos, I know it would not be especially historical but it would be more fun for those of us incapable of doing the requisite math.

Edit : I've actually solved my own problem here. I have created a mod to add gyro settings to all applicable torpedos in Soviet Waterway and now I am attempting to translate some of the objective texts using a translating algorithm. If anyone is interested in the gyro mod I can attempt to upload it.

Hmpf... Seems the campaign does not work, I just tried multiple ways and the english campaign breaks and always crashes to desktop
Plus it seems this is only v104 while there was a 1.12? (1.11 with 1.12 patch) which is sadly not in the download
