I went to a pub to watch it and have to agree. Magpies ruled the field. Luckily for Leeds it is goals that count. Could be very important point.

At least I manged to get that noisy karaoke bar silent for a second by jumping up screaming after Woods scored the equalizer...

I was like that watching the mackems yesterday but luckily for me I was with a few friends so my personal safety was assured

Yes the mackems managed to get a point but it is too little too late. Bad for my betting. Sunderland doesn't stay up, Norwich don't get promoted and Arsenal won't be 4th. One trifecta that will go belly up

TOON lost 3-1 at Ipswich and must now start looking at their nearest rivals but points in the bag should still see them safely cross the line.

Congratulations to Brighton who gained promotion today.

There is hope. Sh**field and Fulham play against each other on last round. Of course it means three wins in a row. Opponents aren't top teams either. Exciting times ahead...

If Fulham beat Huddersfield and TOON beat Preston we'll be just a whisker away from crossing the line.

I would rather see it other way around Huds beat Fulham...anyway only total colapse will rob Newcastle of their promotion...

Norwich 2-0 Brighton

Brighton goalkeeper David Stockdale scored two freakish own goals as the Seagulls lost at Norwich to miss out on securing the Championship title.

All of yesterdays results were in favour of the TOON and against the mackems so I'm looking forward to tomorrow nights telrvised game where a draw will see us gain automatic promotion.

Not impossible for Leeds to reach the playoffs but if it hadn't been for that 96th minute equaliser last week, TOON would already be promoted.

Tonight is the night....my lad and future son-in-law are coming round to watch the TOON v Preston game. The beers are cooling in the fridge and the curries are ordered but most importantly, my late fathers photograph will be positioned facing the screen.

Hopefully a good result will make for a great evening in honour of my father

My £20 cross bet and double is almost ready for payment, with Newcastle being promoted last night that's a third of the bet complete.
I'm just waiting for Sunderland to be relegated now to finish off the cross bet and double and that will net me an £105.39 profit for a bet that was a near certainty.
