Default Official Meeting Hotel Info - get your roomate here

Here is the official hotel for the Subsim meeting:
Hotel CABINN Scandinavia
Website: http://www.cabinn.com/english/kbh/scandinavia/sca.html
Vodroffsvej 55 - 1900 Frederiksberg

Phone: (+45) 35 36 11 11
Fax: (+45) 35 36 11 14
Email: sca@cabinn.com

MAP LINK

US Dollars:
1 person $100
2 persons $125 ($63 each)
3 persons $148 ($49 each)
4 persons $173 ($43 each)

This is the only hotel we are planning with, so if you want to stay elsewhere, be my guest but all arrangements and meeting travel is your resonsibility. The idea is to stay in one place so we can coordinate all activities easily. This is a nice family hotel with good rates, so if you want to save $10 by staying in a hostel on the other side of Copenhagen, good luck and tell us where we can send you pictures of the meeting!

This hotel is very close to the Metro that comes in from the airport! So when you get off your plane, take the Metro a few stops and you are directly here. Ask any Metro questions to McBeck.

Be sure to post in this thread to work out a plan with a buddy or two to share a room. I don't think we will be spending a lot of time in the rooms so why spend more $$ for a room alone?

Questions? Post here.

Ok, I have booked my room for the 15th-20th. I booked a "Family Room" for 4. Chad, one of the bunks is for you, the other two will be for a couple of guests I am bringing with me to the meet.

The online booking app was not working for me, so I called Phone: (+45) 35 36 11 11

The menu is in English and Danish, you just press 1 for booking. I spoke with Michael, his English is better than mine.

Room Info: http://www.cabinn.com/english/kbh/scandinavia/rooms/rooms.html

The Family Room has 4 separate beds.

The Commodore Family has one double bed and two bunks.

I must have missed something... what are the dates for the event? Any notable activities?

Was the hotel changed, was it not before the CABINN City near the Tivoli?

Just for certainty that the participants do not make a reservation in various CABINN hotels, because there are four CABINN hotels in Copenhagen

For the users who wants to book online!

workaround for the error:

1. go to CABIN City homepage
http://www.cabinn.com/english/kbh/city/city.html

2. select BOOK NOW

3. enter your arrivial and departure date but not hit next
(now the required cookie is set for your browser)

4. go to the meeting hotel homepage
http://www.cabinn.com/english/kbh/scandinavia/sca.html

5. select BOOK NOW

previously set data should now be prepopulated and you can normally continue the booking

I need a place to sleep Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

So far I am in agreement with "Lurchi" that we share a room Friday and Saturday. Lurchi arrives already on Thursday and leaves on Sunday. I will leave on Monday. That means, so far I have no room for Sunday and Lurchi has no roombuddies for Thursday yet.

One more time:

Thursday: Lurchi
Friday: Lurchi, Danielito
Saturday: Lurchi, Danielito
Sunday: [Danielito]

Lurchi is the one who has booked a room.

Oh, now I saw the correct thread.
So,

So, anyone? I'll send the form tomorrow, and I shall see if my boss(es) accept my request for vacation days the next week.
Already checked, and split costs would definitely be cool. Any room still available? (sent the form today, BTW)

Also, schedule says that it's an 8 hour travel, arriving at about 3 P.M. the 16th (wed.), and leaving about the same hour on the 20th (sun.).

How are things going?

I just had a phone conversation with Lurchi. As it seems now, we are 3 guys:
Lurchi, Danielito and Martes.

It is a 4 beds room anyway booked from Thursday to Saturday (included), I was told.

So, there still would be room for a 4th guy. So, come on now.

(I still need a room for Sunday but that should be no problem to find in a big city such as Copenhagen, at least I hope so.)
