Subsim game review: Pacific Fleet

Ok, I admit, I'm a late bloomer when it comes to mobile games. I mean, I have a nice 28" monitor and powerhouse PC at home to play the latest and greatest subsims... do I really care about playing naval games on a phone? It can wait, right? Well, no, if the game is right, playing a mobile game is a whole lot more interesting than thumbing through old magazines at the doc's office, or just about any killing time opportunities that arise.

Pacific Fleet game review

Quote:
Pacific Fleet is mission based strategy/sim game. It doesn't crowd Silent Hunter or Dangerous Waters out of the simulation arena, but it really has too much detail and logic to be dismissed as an arcade game. You play as the US Navy or Imperial Japanese Navy in Pacific WWII naval engagements. All battles start with random placement--sometimes you are in great position, other times the enemy has the upper hand. Either way, it adds to the gameplay.

Due to the laconic humour and some witty prose, a very enjoyable read that left a wide grin on my face. Thanks for the pleasure!

Actually, I already have it installed on my Galaxy 10.1, just have not found the right time to dive into the game. It's currently all time either general internet, Assetto Corsa or real life over here. Must change that and finally check out what I have bought two weeks ago or so.
