Long time, no posts! Figure I should give some shots I've taken during this career.
My first encounter with a lightship, in the Straits of Dover, early war.  U-50 docking with supply ship Thalia in the Spanish port of Cadiz.  Same patrol; manuvering to avoid a stick of depth charges after attacking a small convoy of steamers.  The medals as of the 17th patrol. Now, the newest accolades are the Knight's Cross with Gold Oak Leaves, Diamonds, etc, etc...
