Yeah, but pings skyrocket on Hunter's server rather quickly
Anyway, I'm sure it's not such a big problem

The Finnish Postal service at it again
My "Saitek pedals", or more precisely a parcel with that number, just arrived at the local office and I of course went to fetch them immediately. At home I opened the package and WTF?!, A SCANNER! Against all odds the company I bough them from, Pixmania, had apparently done everything correctly, while the ****ers at Finland mixed up the numbers. Luckily the original recipient's phone number and address were still visible, so I just called him and he'll fetch his parcel and we'll see if the pedals are there. The scanner is his, so with any luck he should have my order. |

Ja, first we knocked out a bridge (Well, I knocked out a bridge since Hunter just HAD to point his bombsight to look at that nice Belgian lady doing the laundry in the yard), then we went on a suicide attack against a massive formation of RAF Hurricanes after Belgium surrendered

Yes good sorties yesterady
First sortie you did a good job with the bridge, while us fighters even managed to protect you this time. The second one was probably the hardest so far given the amount of Hurris. Immediately at the merge I think I got one that was turning onto Hunter's tail but did it right in front of me. He just flew right into my sights and I gave him a good burst. I saw strikes and pieces flying but didn't follow him down. Then I was tailed by two or more Hurris and lost sight of you guys. At least it was on our soil! 109 barbeque ftw |

So is there room in this squadron for a rookie? Forgive my total n00bness but can DCG add an extra player mid-campaign?
Also, what time of day do you guys usually play at? BTW, when I say "rookie" I mean like... in my offline campaign, I think I killed more wingmen (by crashing into them) than enemies, so far. You have been warned.

Thanks for the answer (and the warning lol)
I have 1946 patched to 4.09b1m - will there be any compatibility issues?

Er... that might be tricky... I didn't backup 4.08. 4.08 stutters on my machine in perfect mode, but 4.09 fixes it (by increasing some buffer or other). Not a request, just a question: why don't you use 4.09? Are there problems (bugs) in it? Also, I've never played IL2 online... are the realism options set server-side? If so, what are they set to in your campaign?
