3. Schooner "Virgen de Covadonga" (chilean) (IA) 1859
Spanish warship captured by chilean corvette Esmeralda during "Chincha Islands War" (1865).
Peruvian ironclad "Independencia" collided with a submerged rock and sank after trying to ram the "Covadonga" in the called "Naval Battle of Punta Gruesa" (21-05-1879)
She sank while enforcing a blockade in the port of Chancay, Perú, when the crew tried to lift a peruvian boat with fruit, and it exploded cause it was really a floating mine. (13-09-1880)
Lenght 107 ft (33 m), 630 tons., speed: 7 kn (13 Km/hr) on steam (160 CV)
Armament
2 x 70 pounder (200 mm) revolving guns
(In Silent Hunter 3, replaces DD HuntI)
After may 21, 1879:
2 x 9 pounder guns
3 x 40 pounder guns

It's fantastic project, and I hope you consider doing also a version of the sail ships without guns (Just eliminating the 3d model) because that would allow using them in the UBoat scene as transport sailships, which are right now scarce but still much in use in 1939-45.

I hadn't been in Subsim in a few months.
Being from Peru, this thread has left me MIND-BLOWN.
It's the last thing one would expect to find on the SH3 Workshop forums.
Also, you have done a great job at modelling.

Dear author!

I think it was polite to inform that the 3D models are taken out of our "Ironclads" game. Besides ironclad monitor Huascar. I understand that the changes were made. But it is still our 3D models.
