Do you get transferred?

Hey team, I apologize if this is already addressed somewhere else, but I do believe I checked everywhere I could think.

I know you can transfer yourself by requesting transfers using the telephone. But does the game ever actually reassign you to another flotilla?

With SH3 commander, you can get transferred to training duties (sitting at a desk in the USS Office) and it ends your career. I don't think you will get reassigned. It hasn't happened to me yet.

Flotillas get moved and disbanded as ports are lost. I'm not sure how the game handles this though, never made it that far.

When a flotilla changes base then you get the message of base change.

The same happens when friendly ports are captured and the flotilla changes base or disbanded.

USS Office = United States Ship Neversail.

It's opposite is the USS Neverport.
