Default GWX Hydrophones

I'm in a type II and when I sit down in the Hydrophone chair I cannot get the dial to rotate. Is there something I should be doing to get that to work?
Thanks
This mod rocks Excellent work Devs

You can either click on the pointer or at the rotating wheel. No changes from GW1.1a.

I have tried pointing on the Dial face and on the Wheel but nothing happens. Even when I stand back and watch the operator the pointer and wheel do not move. I guess I will have to have complete trust in my operator for the rest of this patrol.

There is a crab caught on the hydrophone portion outside of the hull

JK, it will not turn with pointing the mouse at the wheel?

I only went to the hydrophones after a save. I'm not sure if it was working before the save though. I will take notice next time

Mighty big crab. Wonder if the medic can fix that problem for me:hmm:
I wonder if its part of the malfunction mod with SH3 Commander?

Default hydraphone wheel

I have had the same problem in the past. What I discovered was that it happened after I took some damage and then saved. When I reloaded the hydraphones would not work, just figured they were damaged during the attack. When I save with no damage, they work fine. hope this helps.

Regards

Chuck

Could well be part of the malfunction if you have it enabled
But IIRC it can happen after a save too under certain circumstances

Like most SH3 bugs they dont affect everybody or happen all the time under the same conditions

Thanks for the feedback. I will chalk it up to a malfunction or maybe I can blame the operator and have him shot for treason.:hmm:
Seas are rough anyways best to head home.

Bernard probably just forgot to put them on before you left port.

Have you gotten any contacts from the AI guy working that station? Because if you haven't...there might be a pretty big problem.

Clicking on the rotating wheel on the Type II hydrophone set does not move the pointer. Click on the pointer and drag around the dial or clicking on the dial should make the pointer move around the dial.

This is exactly the same as it was in Grey Woves in the Type II, I don't remember how it was in the stock version.

It was the same in the stock version unfortunately. Not a show stopper though.

I had one contact while I was patroling my grid. Never did find the ship though. Nasty weather right now in the north sea.

I recommend getting a sonar qualification for one or more of your men as soon as possible. Unqualified men will detect other ships... but not nearly as effectively.
