Default Multicopy / SFSF / S3F

Hello, I am trying to get a second installation of SH3 to work.

I have SH3 with LSH3 - as you can see from the screenshot - working as a multicopy. I believe I managed to get it working with SFSF the last time, which was about 2 months ago. I believe I manually copied the unzipped steam vanilla installation and applied SFSF steam fix, installed the LSH3 supermod and eventually it worked. I wanted to have a second install to give WAC5.0 a try. I remember it started up unmodded and I ran into unrelated problems later with WAC5.0. There was a graphics problem and in order to focus on my youtube playthrough I removed the WAC5.0 installation completely, to try another time, which is why I am here now.

In order to obtain a second installation I unzipped my steam installation zip, and started SFSF as administrator. It aborted saying I am on an old version. My SFSF is from http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=5044. Is there a never version?

Then I tried S3F, which seems to be quite a powerful tool. I obtained it from http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=212462. I ran it as administrator, but upon completion of the copying process and after applying the 4GB and h.sie patches I got an "Application Load Error 2:000065558" and SH3 would not start.

What is the proper way to multi install from a steam installation?

Thank you Anvar, I will give this a try tonight. My main concern is steam. Getting multiple installations isn't the problem. The problem is when it comes to running them without steam going bat**** crazy.

The proposes solution has worked, I managed to painlessly install and run a second copy of sh3 using MultiSH3. Thanks again.
