ROFL I am getting quite good at the cutting off of the head part these days too.

It's ok, I'm engaged to a lass who managed to snipe me with an AK-47 three houses away. Still haven't figured out how she managed that.

Then of course there's the time she shot down my best friend in his Hind with her T-80

Female of the species is definately more deadly than the male

Well, I won't get into an argument over which gender is the deadliest, but I DO believe that women are more vindictive than men. We NEVER forget a slight and just remember, paybacks are a, well, you know.

My brother likes to tease that women should be the first up in the front lines. The sergeant points toward the enemy then tells the ladies that the enemy said those uniforms make us look fat, then quickly gets out of the way.

He, also a 'former' Marine, also points out that he doesn't want to tangle with anybody who can bleed for four days and still live.

All I'm saying is don't underestimate the fighting abilities of a woman. I'm a U.S. Marine (former, but you never stop being one), hold expert ratings with both pistol and rifle, can fly an airplane, keep a .45 in my nightstand, and I'm a mother.

Ever try getting between a mother (of any species) and her babies? Wouldn't recommend it.

Oh, don't worry, I'm not taking any of the joking around here seriously; incessant teasing is what friends do.

Just, when it boils down to it, men AND women are both strong in their own ways, when and where need be.

Cheers darlings!

P.S. Does it really matter what footwear I choose to don in the command room?

I LIKE my pink fuzzy house slippers.

Cheers!

If anyone's still paying attention to this thread - do you know what happened to Avon Lady? I liked her a lot. It seems like she's dropped off the face of the earth!

She had a 3-day stint in the brig for trolling in one particularly nasty thread - knowing her personality, she probably did not take well to that and has not posted since that day. So she's around online, but I don't think she's coming back to subsim.

I haven't been much of a poster on Subsim lately but I had to say I almost fell off my chair when I read the Hyacinth and Bruno posts! LOL!!!! :rotfl:

You, nikimcbee mon ami, are sharper than a page of Oscar Wilde's witticisms that have been rolled into a point, sprinkled with lemon juice and jabbed into my eye
