Finally got the bumper off!!! Stubborn little bugger I can tell you, took many a whack with hammer and chisel before the final bolt came off lol. Looks a right beast now though, I bloody love it! Pics to follow soon hopefully

Actually it looks bad-ass without the front bumper

Here's some evil corporation logos for you, but Weyland-Yutani is already taken, by me

I believe it's not illegal to remove your bumper, but any revealed edges should be removed/smoothed, lights and plate should be legally positioned and it's advisable to inform your insurance company.

That last part is probably the most crucial, you know how they will use any excuse not to pay up! The police may ignore it, but if they see it often they may pull you and dig deeper into the rest of the car.

Just sayin'.

Haha, yep, just informed the insurer this morning and its absolutely fine, not affected the premium or anything, i also asked about snorkel/big tyres and she said that's no problem either. I have specialist 4x4 insurance so they don't really care what the hell you do to it as long as it's legal

Also fitted my CB aerial that arrived this morning, it now just looks like a big R/C car Just need a CB radio to go with it haha

must say I was slightly worried she was just gonna say "NOPE! Put it back on!" or "That's fine but you owe us an extra 300 quid" lol. One less thing to worry about anyway
