This simple mod changes the pocket watch into a pure stopwatch. As such, the watch will no longer display the current time when using this mod, but will only display the number of minutes and seconds that have passed since starting the watch. To tell the current time, use the clock located in the bottom right corner of the screen.

The reason for this mod is that the hands of the watch frequently interfere with the hands used for the stopwatch function.

"Out of the box", this mod is only compatible with TMO 2.5 but can easily be made to work with any mod combination. The instructions are in the readme. The easy way to tell if this mod will need custom edits is to enable it through JSGME and note the file overwrite warnings. If there is only one warning and it is for TMO 2.5, it will work fine. If there are multiple warnings or a warning that is not TMO 2.5, follow the instructions in the readme.

License: I primarily made this mod for personal use and I really couldn't care less what you do with this. Use at your own risk. If you customize this mod to work with some other mod setup, feel free to upload and share it. If you e-mail me at <see the readme>, I will be happy to link to it in this post.

Col. Sanders, I would like to use this mod, but I would need to edit the file since I use RFB. I briefly tried to locate the section that needs editing, but the file is HUGE and would take a while to scroll through. A tip as to where to start looking would be helpful. Just don't have the time to scroll through the whole thing. Thanks.

CTRL-F should open a search in most text editors, such as notepad. That's going to be the easiest way to find the section you need.

Yeah, what razark said. For example, use control+F to search for Name=Chronometer Second and it's color property will be a few lines below.

Oh, also, if you have a clean menu_1024_768.ini from RFB that hasn't been modified by any other mods, you can pack it into a zip file and e-mail it to me and I'll modify and include it in the mod. I'm happy to do that for a few major megamods, but I'm not going to sit and create 500 variants for every possible mod combination.

@ Col. Sanders and Razark. Thanks for the info to bring up the file search function. Edits complete, mod in use. Thanks again!

Why not upload it to the downloads section of Subsim. That's the gold standard for upload spots because there it won't get deleted. When that other site you like eliminated all my stuff I just left. Who needs 'em?

Now all my mods are here and my videos are at You Tube. At least I don't have to worry about them there. And that's where people look the most for the mods. I use You Tube to promote Subsim too by stating that's where the mods are in the video description.

If you have Subsim you don't need Gamefront or Filefront or whatever they want to call it this week. And you're not subject to their whims about what they will eradicate. They are the home of FPS games and couldn't care less about simulations, especially ten year old niche sims like SH4.

Yeah, I need to get around to setting that up one of these days. I've got a few old mods sitting around that are no longer available due to exactly that issue. Sometime soon, I'll see about uploading all that stuff to subsim proper.

Minor changes to the readme, and uploaded to subsim. You don't need to redownload if you have already grabbed this mod.

Any RFB players have just the code for the menu? I don't need the whole menu, just the clock bit. I was trying to do it but couldn't get the needles right.
