Default SH3 Flak gun replacement

Ahoy! Sounds crazy (perhaps) but: has anyone tried replacing light flaks with heavy? I tried moding the Cfg\basic and Menu\cfg\game\conning_barracks_* files in order to assign heavy flaks to A01 and A02 positions but without sucess.

Have you tried to change NSS_Uboat **. eqp?

Still no joy. I managed to put heavy flaks instead fo light by adding them to list on A01 and A02 wapons in basic.cfg file and assigning to particular place on submarine - 3 flakvierlings on IX-3 coning tower of IXD-2 (A01, A01 and S01). They are visable (meaning as 3-D objects) in single missions but not functional (no ammo, no crew, reporting flak destroyed etc.) except the one on S01.
Must be some other file(s) that determines number and type of weapons on each coning tower.

One attempt was "Uberboat" by MM Mush Martin. I'm not shure what Positions where used for which guns, but when i remember correctly, that was a real Uber-UBoat. Also as i know, it was never finished, mostly beta versions. Maybe you find some help when you look into the files.
The pictures in the old Threads here on Subsim are all gone now, since that was "in the old Days".

I think, the Guns we have in the Game for the UBoat are absolut enough.
Well, i have not modified my guns, but the Shells. Make them a little bit stronger, and you may be happy. But dont use the Shells that you and all other Vessels use. Make youre own. And make shure, you are the only one that these can use.
Beware, such things will change the Game-feeling immense.
