37 AD: Nero is born. He lasted approx. 30 years, fiddled around; killed his mom (Three attempts! one tough mama!!??)...and his first two wives!

AS he prepared himself for suicide, pacing up and down muttering "Qualis artifex pereo" which translates to English as "What an artist dies in me." Losing his nerve, he first begged for one of his companions to set an example by first killing himself. At last, the sound of approaching horsemen drove Nero to face the end. However, he still could not bring himself to take his own life but instead he forced his private secretary, Epaphroditos, to perform the task

He obeyed only two rules of Roman emperorship: be a great lyre... and have a good secretary. Throwing in the loss of a war with Parthia; a rebellion in Judea; and the rebellion of the Iceni Queen: Boudicca; with the destruction of Londinium...and the contemplated abandonment of Britain... not the ablest of administrators. < no respect begins with bad graffiti!

The naval victory at the Battle of Trafalgar was important and kept Napoleon from invading England.

However the Napoleonic Wars continued for another ten years after Trafalgar.
