Apparently our flight night yesterday killed my P-51.

Freezes on every mission I try to start and once it goes to the debrief screen
it shows the stuff from last night.

Quite, even reinstall didn't help.

Try #2 with everything even remotely pointing to Eagle Dynamics deleted from HD & registry.

EDIT: That did the trick. Apparently, installing DCS World anywhere else but the default path can cause this problem.

EDIT2: Except now I'm missing the pilot textures.

Okay, I got DCS world installed, plus the two modules too.

Sign me up for a game, I'm available after work at 1:30pm every day.

Seems likely I won't be able to do Thursday; got a funeral Friday and I'm probably leaving sometime Thursday, stay the night over at family.

On the "connection interrupted" thing; it's being tracked by ED internally, so they are aware of the issue. There's a possible solution:
Quote:
Experienced this ourselves last night! May have found the solution possibly! The host was using the network speed set to LAN and we were using ADSL 256. We changed our setting to LAN too and we no longer got the connection interrupted message!! This may have been a coincidence but it seemed to work fine
Maybe if you try this next time and see, matching what the hosts network speed setting...
Quote:
We had this issue too: in my vSQ our server manager tried to set the server in "LAN" mode instead of "internet", than all the client also goes in "LAN" mode. Everyone connected using the "connect by IP" option whithout any single "connection interrupted" message, even who (like me) can't connect at the server if run in "internet" mode.

As such, I'll launch the server in LAN next time. People who want to connect should set their connection to LAN as well, connect through IP, and be sure to use the proper password (wrong pass causes the same problem aparently).

Yep, what Hunter said.

I'll use this opportunity to fight with remapping my stick, and maybe learning to fly again - it's been a while.

Comes back pretty fast; it's like riding a bicycle.
