[TEC] How to restore the TMO plot?

Always bugged me how some escorts and warships are missing their "black dot" for plotting with contacts on. How do you restore these? I thought it was the shp.dds file but when I placed one from TMO aux subchaser for RSRD aux subchaser, got a weird green squre in game when I zoomed in for plot. I know most smaller escorts, some DD's and Tone CA are missing their "dots" when you zoom in on map.
